The curtains are see through, especially with light and you can walk right through them as well.Each curtain measures about 36 width and the length varies from piece to piece from about 75-78 long depending on the piece and the artisan who made it. The strands (125 for this curtain) of bamboo beads are attached to a wooden bar on the top of the curtain. The bead thickness tapers as it goes down the curtain. This wooden bar can be cut down to fit to smaller widths but that would mean cropping the image. The length cannot be extended or shortened.To install, simply screw two J hooks or eye rings under a doorway ( we include these for you as well so no need to make a run to your local hardware store) and hook the curtain onto those two hooks.
